I have been interested in hitchhiking as a practice since 2008, and have written two book chapters on it. I am writing up some articles at the moment, based on my hitchhiking experiences, including a hitchhiking trip to Ireland in 2017 (below). However, a recent call to reflect on hitchhiking as a methodological tool provided a means to critically reflect on my own practices. The result was a short piece for Suomen Antropologi: Journal of the Finnish Anthropological Society.
